The breakfast was very nice and filling (although quite sweet in my opinion), and the staff was kind and always ready to help. We felt very welcome at the place. The original blanket was quite thin, but we found extra blankets in the wardrobe that were definitely enough. Location is great, and easily accessible from the Jmaa El Fna square!

We spent three nights in this riad in marrakech, and we were very pleased with the hotel. The riad is very close to the city center (5 mins walk to yamaa el fna)The hotel staff were always very close and reacheble, and they even had a great detail to put some flowers and a message at the room for free (it was a surprise)

Immediately upon arrival we felt like home. The host was super-friendly and welcoming. Explained everything thoroughly and showed us to our room.The room was clean and a good standard. The window was smaller, but we didn’t mind that as we were planning on saying in the room mostly at night, not during the day. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was new, but it was clean and definitely value for the money.The breakfast we received was very tasty and just right in terms of the amount of food.We would definitely recommend this riad as it is on the edge of the Médina, so close to everything but not in the maze of the old town.If you’re in Marrakesh and you’re looking for a home away from home, go for this place!

Stayed at Riad Balkisse for a couple of nights and our stay here was worthwhile. Great location, very close to the square and within walking distance to places.The staff were very nice,accommodating, and helpful. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis,however, the best thing about this place is the food! Home made tagine for lunch/dinner ... what more can one ask for in Morocco? I will be definitely be staying here again!

Very satisfying experience from start to finish. Hajar, the manager welcomes guests with a smile and traditional Moroccan tea, something that being regular visitors to Marrakech, we very much enjoyed. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and staff in the breakfast room could not be nicer. Location is awesome, very near main square and other must visit places in the city. Very recommendable.

Nice place, friendly staff and close to the centre of the city. We would return every time again when looking for a place to stay in Marrakech. Pick up from airport worked out as agreed. Pick up good for first time in Marrakech, as a bit hidden.
